Everyone is welcome

A place to listen, ask, and shape what comes next.

Community meetings are the easiest way to hear what Friends of Madison Park is working on and bring forward an idea or concern. Schedules and locations vary, so the live event listing below is the source of truth for the next gathering.

What happens

Useful updates and real conversation.

Meetings usually combine updates on neighborhood projects and upcoming events with time for questions and discussion. City representatives, community partners, schools, and local businesses may join when a topic calls for their expertise.

  • Civic and public-space projects
  • Upcoming events and volunteer needs
  • Questions for public officials or partner organizations
  • Ideas and concerns raised by neighbors

Come as you are

You do not need to be a member or an expert.

Attend once for a topic you care about or return regularly. Listening is participation, and there is no expectation that showing up means taking on a volunteer role.

Bring a topic

Help put an issue on the community radar.

If there is a local question, project, or organization the neighborhood should hear about, contact Friends of Madison Park before the meeting so the organizers can understand the request and plan the agenda.
